Bluegrass style playing including:

1. Knowing your bass and basic set up, pick ups mics etc.

2. Tuning & tuners

3. Left and right hand technique

4. Intonation, and good tone production

5. Good timing and using a metronome

6. Basic 1/5 patterns

7. Nashville number system

8. Walking to changes/bass runs

9. Scales and how to use them

10. Leading tones/passing notes

11. Different time signatures (i.e. 3/4)

12. How to fit in the group the bass player role

13. On top of the beat?

14. A little slapping (very little)
